re: the first 2 -- i'm perfectly happy with the fact that the leg. can only threaten my pocketbook ~4 months out of the year -- the LAST thing i want is to hand them additional power to cook up new tax & spending schemes the other 3 seasons and/or be forced to vote on [i.e. occasionally pass] poor bills that should rightly be allowed to simply die unnoticed ...
