Thank you for adding Washington's comments on political parties/factions to the We The People Discussion. I couldn't find a way to reply and express my appreciation on that discussion... maybe it is too early to do so and I will be able to do so later. Washington's comments are consistent with the Federalist discussion of factions and the real attempt at that time to form a government that would survive such power groups. They established the seat of government in remote DC far away from any state hoping that the representatives would identify more with the United States than the state they "represented".
Your comments are especially appropriate at this time for the upcoming presidential election and also for the vote on whether or not to have a ConCon. Thanks.
